No FHR Scout account
FHR Scout does not offer user accounts, accept hotel reservations, process payments, or ask for American Express or Hilton credentials. Hotel searches and filters run in the browser against a public static data cache. The site stores interface preferences such as language, theme, color theme, shortlist entries, recent destination searches, and selected view settings in your browser's local storage. Those preferences stay on that browser unless you clear site data or use a browser feature that synchronizes storage.
Analytics and server records
This private deployment does not load Google Analytics. Search history, saved hotels and interface preferences remain in the current browser. The local service stores hotel-data refresh progress, source errors and cached public hotel information on the deployment server. Your hosting provider or reverse proxy may retain its own access and security logs.
Public data and external sites
The directory uses saved public hotel information and requests updates from MaxFHR and American Express through your deployment server. Hotel photographs and OpenStreetMap tiles may load directly from their external providers. Booking links and the original project's GitHub or email links lead to external services with their own data practices. Shared search links include the selected filters and saved hotel codes. The contact page identifies the original project's contact channels; it is not a support inbox operated by your private deployment. This deployment notice was updated October 23, 2026.
